In accordance with ISO 2768-1:1989, general tolerances for angular and linear dimensions are provided without specific indications of tolerance. To simplify drawing indications and define tolerance classes for the dimensions of workpieces made using metal removal or sheet metal forming techniques, this standard simplifies drawing indications.
Three tables that detail the tolerances for various elements, including length, breadth, height, and angles, are included in the standard.
